OK I think we can go ahead and call What Your Body Knows About God by Rob Moll our first book. Let's give ourselves a few weeks to acquire the book and get started. Here is the table of contents so let's say we'll read from the Foreword through chapter 1 before our first Google Meet. Do you all prefer a weekend or weekday evening, or we could do a Saturday late morning. I'll create an event after everyone adds input.
I would love to get some ideas together from folks who’d like to read a book alongside each other and then discuss. We could read a few chapters at a time before we meet via zoom, but I’m just brainstorming here and am open to all ideas.
Ideas for books to read together that I’ve been thinking about:
Science and spirituality as two sides of the same coin
Experiencing God through the arts
Theological works along the lines of God’s upside down kingdom - Walter Brueggemann, Brennan Manning, Fleming Rutledge, similar
Fiction, duh
I'd be interested in "What your body knows" I also have been itching to read some more religion ajacent books that would be along the line of "the screwtape letters". (which i actually have never read) or even fiction that has religions allegory and discussing those sorts of things as well.

Great, I can put it out there that we are reading this book and such.
I am ordering a copy from Amazon, but I might also check McKay’s at some point for other copies.
My schedule will just be kind of dependent on a week to week basis. Saturday morning might work well, as well as Monday or Thursday nights.
