UCC SEC Lenten Zoom Conversation

This Lenten season, the Southeast Conference invites churches and individuals to actively prepare for the Resurrection of Christ through thoughtful conversation and learning.

This session will focus on Building Up a New World: Congregational Organizing for Transformative Impact, a collection exploring how faith communities can engage their contexts with courage, justice, and imagination.

Rev. Dr. Chris Davies, Executive Minister for Programs and Initiatives in the Southern New England Conference of the UCC, will lead a discussion on her chapter addressing rural organizing and how congregations can cultivate meaningful transformation in their communities.

Participants are welcome to join whether they have read the book or are simply curious about how churches can embody Christ’s work in tangible ways.
