Hanging of the Green

Hanging of the Green is a hands-on, community decorating day where we come together to help set up the church for the Advent season.

We’ll be putting up greenery, lights, and seasonal decor throughout the space, working side by side and having fun as we prepare the building for Christmas. This is not a formal service. It’s a relaxed, collaborative event focused on creativity, laughter, and shared work.

This gathering is hosted by Brookmeade and open to both congregations. It’s a great way to kick off the Advent season, meet new people, and take part in shaping the space we worship in together.

No special skills needed. Just come ready to help, decorate, and enjoy being part of the process.
